Starting from April the 1^st, the reduction for the environmental contribution of paper and cardboard will be reduced for the third time to 4 €/ton. The Board of Directors of Conai, thanks to the support of Comieco, has decided to decrease the contribution to 6 €/ton. A great advantage for all those companies involved in this system that will pay 73% less than the year before.

Since 1998 this considerable take back system has improved extraordinarily, as a result, the quantity of recovered packaging has grown from 3.571.000 tons up to 8.596.000.
